Job Title: Technical Manager Salary: Up to A GBP 45k Location: Kings Lynn Type: Permanent Hours: Monday : Friday 8am : 4pm or 9am : 5pm (Hybrid ) Our client based in Kings Lynn are seeking to employ a Technical Manager to start as soon as possible on a permanent basis. Role Overview: Be the technical and compliance contact for their customers, service providers and their growing team Advise the product development team of all relevant food safety guidance and legislation. Liaise with team members on all matters related to product quality and report back to the relevant people when required Complete inbound product checks of all raw materials Provide additional QC support during production runs Responsibilities: Be the technical and compliance contact for our customers and service providers. Be the technical support for the growing team where required, providing monthly reporting on compliance, growing, pest and disease, product quality, customer issues and complaints Advise product development team of all relevant food safety guidance and legislation Ensure product packaging compliance Complete inbound product checks of all raw materials and components Provide additional QC support during production runs Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks associated with Quality Management System. Product and service supplier approval and managementManage laboratory testing compliance, finished product release, recall program, document control and traceability programs Responsible for management and development of raw material and final product specifications Manage the certification compliance and annual renewal audit Essential Skills : Experience in a Quality assessing field previously Have a good knowledge of HACCP TACCP and VACCP systems Understanding of trace testing Strong Excel knowledge and skills Attention to detail : quality controlling Experience within BRC : Supply chain assurance
