The residents live with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and/or autism and may display some associated behaviours.We are searching forTeam Leaders who share our belief that disability is not a barrier, and it doesn't have to stop our residents from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Previous experience in care isessential. Company and Role: : Residential home for Children and Young People. : The conditions the residents live with include a range of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism. : Many of the residents are non:verbal or have limited communication and will communicate through different methods, including picture boards, Smartbox devices and Makaton. : Some personal care may be involved, in addition to companionship, taking part in celebrations, events, fundraising, and other ways of interacting with the local community. Successful Applicant: : Must be able to drive : Hold a Level 3 diploma in Helath and Social Care : Previous experience in care isessential. : Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).
