Organisation and implementation of the activities and excursion programme at Twin English Centre London. Ensuring students’ supervision, welfare and pastoral care is always delivered to a very high standard within the London school. Providing support to the Academic Teams including welfare and child protection training and advice. Providing excellent customer service following the company policies and values in a fast-paced environment. Act as an intermediary between different Twin Training international Departments to ensure the smooth running of the London school duties. Responsibilities Review and update all policies and procedures relating to social programme and welfare in conjunction with the Academic Manager and the Central Operations Team. Ensure risk assessments are completed for each activity/ excursion and include any extra risks for individual students. Pre-book all facilities, services and equipment needed for the social programme. Review and update all activity and excursion plans. Recruit, induct and manage Activity Leaders, and Interns. Plan, promote and run the English Centre London social programme, including managing the budget. Monitor individual students’ well-being and supervision. Ensure all relevant parties are aware of any allergies, dietary requirements, special educational needs, or disabilities, and ensure that measures are put into place. Ensure all necessary paperwork is received, and completed correctly and saved in the database, including parental consents and passports. Ensure incidents, accidents and near misses are reported and necessary documentation is completed. Ensure that individuals’ weekly welfare tutorials are carried out and any issues are immediately addressed. Analyse feedback and plan quality improvements. Take responsibility for student welfare including homesickness, illness, and day-to-day enquiries. Ensure Student's ID badges are prepared and distributed following Safeguarding criteria. Keep all student information up to date, including student handbook, signage, and notices. Provide information to potential students and assist the Sales Team in taking bookings and payments for walk-ins and extensions. Take the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead, comprising of the following duties: To monitor and update the Safeguarding Policy and any relevant documents and files. To support and advise the DSS and Student Services team in the day-to-day implementation of the policies. To receive information from any staff, volunteers, children, parents, or carers who have safeguarding concerns and record it. General Data Human Resources FORM HR JDT 01 2023 The company reserves the right to vary or amend the functions and responsibilities of the post holder according to the needs of the Company’s business. Knowledge/Experience Required Person Specification Updated team members regarding training and policies. Record all information in writing in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Ensure the Prevent Duty is met at all times. Be alert and ready to respond to any major incidents. Be available to respond to any safeguarding concerns as assigned by the Group Safeguarding Lead on a Rota. Be a First aider and Fire Warden. Ensure that Group Leaders are inducted and have regular checkpoints to assist with any potential ongoing queries. Any other reasonable/appropriate duties Reception cover when required. Analyse and input attendance on a weekly basis, including follow-up of those -80% Prepare leaver's certificates and host the Friday certificate ceremony. Education /Qualification Educated to degree level, preferably in Tourism, Education, Psychology or Social Work - desirable. HSE-recognised First Aid certificate (such as St John's First Aid at Work)- desirable. Teaching qualification – desirable Skills and Experience Essential Strong understanding of the principles of safeguarding Computer literate Strong administration skills Customer service experience Previous high-paced work environment experience Desirable, but not essential: Administrative experience Experience working with children in a similar role Previous managerial experience within a team Experience of working in mixed cultural environments Previous experience in recruitment Teaching experience Additional Information Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience Location: Greenwich Contract: Permanent - Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 Benefits:  up to 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + Birthday Day off, per year; Long service award, an extra days annual leave per year completed, up to 5 additional days; 5 days paid sick leave per year; Employee referral scheme, up to £500 per successful referral; Sabbatical Leave the right to request up to 1 months unpaid sabbatical leave; Season ticket loan of up to £1000 per year; Pension contributions; Career development opportunities; 2 volunteering days per year; ability to purchase an additional 3 days annual leave per year; Death in service benefit, including an Employee Assistance Programme.
