This is a full time, permanent role offering hybrid working from their office in Hertfordshire, the ideal candidate must have 3+ years working on residential projects.Our client based in Hertfordshire is currently recruiting for a Structural Engineer to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full time, permanent role offering hybrid working from their office in Hertfordshire, the ideal candidate must have 3+ years working on residential projects. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the successful technical and commercial execution of project work, including managing personnel and resources. Senior Engineers will be technically competent and be good communicators, able to develop relationships with clients and fellow professionals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Undertaking more complex analysis and design calculationsProvide guidance to other engineers and techniciansChecking work of other engineers and techniciansUnderstanding and implementing business management systemsAssistance with the preparation of fee bidsManagement of projects including invoicingAssisting with training and appraisal of technical staffAssisting with management of staff Requirements: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or alternative equivalent practical experienceChartered or Incorporated Engineer, Member of IStructE, ICE or other relevant institutionKnowledge of relevant discipline and applicable standardsProven ability in engineering design & reportingCommercially aware If interested, our client is looking to move quickly and are therefore offering between £44,000 - £56,000 per annum for the role.
