Solar Designer Location: London (hybrid) Role: Design solar PV systems for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct comprehensive site assessments to evaluate solar potential, shading analysis, and structural considerations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and installers, to facilitate smooth project execution. Requirements/Qualifications Experience in Renewable Energy or related fields. Electrical Qualification Level 3 Solar PV Qualification would Proficiency in using solar design tools such as OpenSolar and PVSol and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar PV technologies, and industry standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail, including proficiency in Excel.
