Have proven experience working in a software development role in a commercial production environmentBe able to demonstrate successful experience using a range of technologies including:Java/JEE (application and web)JavaScript, AJAXHTML5, CSSXMLSQL scriptingMS SQL ServerApache Tomcat, IISAzure cloud deploymentBe competent in networking technology protocols, TCP/IP, web services etcHave an understanding of database architecture and designHave experience of the full system development lifecycleHave the ability to assess the impact of new project requirements on an existing workloadBe able to demonstrate that they are a self starter who takes personal responsibility of the task to be completedBe able to demonstrate their commercial awareness and ability to interpret customer needs;Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical specifications to others who have little or no understanding of the productsBe able to work as part of a team whilst also working autonomously and managing their own workPossess good written English skills and be able to articulate using business EnglishPossess general business-based IT skillsHave organizational skills in such tasks as filing, diary-keeping and forward planningHave an enthusiastic and flexible attitude towards their duties.
