The Role: As a Service Technician your responsibilities will include maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles mechanical and electrical systems. You will be performing various tasks, with a focus on first-time fix and delivering high-quality work. Duties: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs per manufacturer guidelines on various equipment. Troubleshoot faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools. Directly engage with clients to understand issues and provide technical advice. Perform tests post-repair to ensure equipment functionality and safety. Repair and maintain critical machinery components, including power units, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Utilise diagnostic software for preventative maintenance and to extend equipment lifespan. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Service Technician or in a similar role. Possess practical workplace experience. NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent. Technical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models. Skilled in computer usage and quick to learn new systems. Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
