We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hackney to assist with the appointment of a Senior Technical Support Officer, on a 12 -month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £20.02 - £25.48 per Hour Responsibilities: To work as part of a team responsible for providing Technical supportfunctions associated with the delivery of the service area functions. To manage the technical support function, delivering excellent customerfocused services and lead on and manage all issues relating to technicalsupport To lead on the development of, and be the first point of contact on the ITsystem used by the service area; for the benefit of the Service Area andcustomers. To establish and develop effective and inspirational relationshipsmanagement based on council values an enabler of continuousimprovement To be responsible for the establishment, monitoring and maintenance and/or provision of specialist financial/project work relevant to the service area. Promote and adopt new ways of working according to need to ensureconsistently high quality service, cost effectiveness and timely servicedelivery, being adaptable in response to unplanned priorities. Required Experience: Educated to A- Level or HND level with GCSE/O level obtained in Mathand English or ability to demonstrate sound literacy and numeric skills Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
