We are working with an international Freight and Logistics provider, who are currently seeking an experienced Roadfreight Customs Clerk to join their team based in Dagenham. Requirements: * Experience within a freight forwarding environment essential* Comprehensive knowledge of customs procedures and principles* Experience with Sequoia software advantageous General duties: * Preparation and completion of customs entries for import and export* Dealing with entry queries : commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation requirements etc* Calculation of Duty and VAT rates per consignment* Processing duty reclaims* Maintaining compliance with current and evolving customs legislation* To be the successful Roadfreight Customs Clerk, you will need to have experience working within a European Logistics of Customs position.* We are keen to hear from candidates who have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a familiarity of CDS and ASM Sequoia.
