We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Redditch to assist with the appointment of a Registered Manager , on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £21.98 - £28.57 per hour Summary: To be responsible for professional, effective management of the Scheme throughout the provision of Extra Care, personal Care and support, activities, accommodation and meals services which are designed to ensure quality of life for tenants and enable and encourage people to live as independently as possible in their own homes. Responsibilities: To be the registered Manager for St Davids House and Queens Cottages for the purposes of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Care Quality Commission Regulations 2009. To carry out duties in line with associated regulations. To ensure the Scheme meets all the Extra Care requirements of the commissioned contract. In conjunction with relevant professionals to determine, provide and review the required level of support and care services to each living in the scheme and ensure this is reflected and updated within Care Plans and Risk Assessments. To manage the premises and the grounds, to ensure the supervision of cleaning services to the satisfaction of tenants and to maintain equipment to the standard required. In conjunction with the Allocations Panel, to maintain the appropriate occupancy level and the agreed balance of dependency levels amongst tenants. Qualifications: Professional Qualification e.g NVQ 5 or equivalent. Management Qualification (Leadership training and Development) Health and Safety qualification Must hold a full driving licence Knowledge & Experience: Knowledge of CQC regulations. Knowledge of legislation, Health and Safety, policies and procedures. Experience of significant experience of managing/ supervising in a health/social care provider services. Experience with report writing, producing risk assessments, producing procedures, project work and service development. Proven ability to ensure budgets remain with agreed levels and resources. Experience of ensuring vulnerable people have personalised care with changing needs and varying health and social issues. Knowledge and experience in working in older peoples services. Extensive experience and knowledge of staff supervision and management. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
