Property Claims Processor Job Type : Full Time, Permanent Location: Boston Spa, LS23 6BN Salary: 26,000 : 36,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday 8:45 am : 5:15 pm, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, 4 Saturdays per annum on a rota basis The Role Our client headquartered in Boston Spa, Yorkshire, and with a presence in Stirling, Scotland, is the UKs foremost provider of Village Hall insurance, cementing its reputation through decades of dedicated service to communities across the nation. Its important to note that this role does not entail face:to:face interactions with customers, and is not sales related. Key Responsibilities * Communicate with customers via phone, email, and post.* Perform administrative tasks related to Claims handling, and dealing with general queries related to Renewals, New Business, Mid Term Adjustments after training.* Communicate with insurers, RICS surveyors, Loss Adjustors.* Handle and respond to product queries from clients efficiently and accurately.* Collaborate within a team to provide the necessary support to our valued customers. Skills and Qualifications * Essential experience in property:related insurance, in either underwriting, policy administration or claims.* At least 2 years claims management experience (ideally commercial property) for UK insurer or broker with delegated claims authority, under the regulation of the FCA.* Must be authorised to work in the UK, we provide no visa sponsorship or relocation support.* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.* Previous office:based, customer focused experience is essential.* A positive attitude and ability to provide clear information to customers over the telephone.* Proficiency in navigating IT systems for administration tasks.* Excellent attention to detail.* Strong organisational skills.* Strong customer service skills.
