Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a a Qualified Vehicle Modifier of Commercial Vehicles recruit a Production Engineer to be based at a major automotive OEM site in Dagenham, and the role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of any improvements as well as control the product quality output as a result of that change. You will have excellent relationships with the Design and Engineering teams to support introducing new products from R and D into main line production. In your first few weeks in this Production Engineer role, you can expect to: * Encourage and foster an environment where improvements and customer quality are key* Support the production line Technicians to implement and train any process improvement or process changes to the Operational teams* Pareto quality issues to identify and implement continuous improvement activities to improve quality, throughput and process flow* Maximise the use of data to drive improvements for this Production Engineer role, you will need an HNC/degree or time:served apprenticeship with an automotive manufacturing background and experience utilising SQCDP principles.
