We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Flintshire to assist with the appointment of a Plumber , on a 2 -month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £14.41 - £17.67 per hour Responsibilities: To carry out all aspects of plumbing and related work including domestic, water service systems, rainwater pipes, soil stacks, sanitary fittings and all associated works, tiling, minor plastering work. To be able to work from detailed specifications and drawings. To collect orders and instruction, complete documentation such as works orders and timesheets, and return completed documentation to Assistant District Maintenance Officer on a daily basis. To work alone, or with trades, carry out work at council-owned properties to provide a quality customer driven service to set standards to our customers. To identify, be responsible and accountable for the ordering, collection, safe storage and use of materials. To respond to emergency needs such as entering properties for emergency services, make safe any damage as required. Qualification: Must be apprentice trained and time served and/or hold an appropriate craft qualification, minimum City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3. Experience of assessing/inspecting plumbing works and undertaking fault finding and diagnostic work. Experience of, and ability to use, the required portable power tools. Experience of working as an electrician in a repair/maintenance and contracting environment. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
