The Avenue Cookery School is a fun family run company, teaching cooking to all ages and abilities! We are a small team bursting with energy, drive and most importantly good food, looking for a like-minded, English speaking Photography Volunteer to join our team! This role is perfect for those who want to practice and improve their food and portrait photography skills and increase their portfolio! It will involve attending our classes and snapping pics of all aspects of the class - food, people and space. We will ask you to arrive slightly before people turning up so you can set up and capture the setting up and then stay until the end in order to get the final results of each class, which usually involves everyone sitting down and enjoying the wonderful food they just created! After the class we would ask you to edit the photos and send at least 15 good photos over to us to use for marketing and promotional purposes - you will be tagged in any photos we use on our popular social media. We are looking for someone who is efficient, reliable and has initiative! We need someone flexible who speaks and understands English. Experience in photography is essential as is a good laid back character! It is very important that the person we work with is a hard worker but at the same time easy going as we are a fun family run business and it is not a 'clock-work' operation. We are all straightforward and to the point so need someone who can take constructive criticism and can be honest back. The classes can be up to 28 participants so can be pretty fast paced with not always time to 'arrange' the photo so will be a matter of catching the moment. Hours are dependent on our classes but we can be flexible to a certain degree as to which classes you work on. We have classes running on weekdays, weekends and evenings. London based travel will be covered and excellent food provided. You will need your own camera and equipment for this role.
