Role and responsibilitiesOur client is seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL / APEX Developer to aid in the implementation and enhancement of their database schemas and PL/SQL migrations. The successful candidate will have an expert level understanding of Oracle Database, PL/SQL, data modeling principles, as well as a proven track record in similar roles. The position involves application development, performance optimization's, and working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Facilitate development, optimizations', and management of database schemas and PL/SQL migrations.Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, and triggers.Undertake application development using Oracle APEX.Perform code performance tuning for SQL and PL/SQL.Collaborate with application development teams to ensure effective database system design and implementation.Identify and resolve complex database issues and performance bottlenecks, providing timely, independent solutions.Undertake database structure design and data modelling tasks.Monitor and improve database performance using various tuning techniques.Implement public cloud deployments using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).Apply advanced knowledge of Oracle Advanced queuing concepts.Required skills and experienceMinimum of 5 years' experience as an Oracle Database developer.Expertise in PL/SQL, collections, and object-oriented PL/SQL and SQL coding.Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c and other major versions.In-depth understanding of data modelling principles and database design.Proven experience with data and schema migration tools and techniques.Proficiency in Oracle APEX development.Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL coding standards and best practices.Expertise in performance tuning of backend systems.Experience with public cloud deployments using OCI ATP and ADW.Advanced understanding of Oracle Advanced queuing concepts.
