Your responsibilities will include providing professional advice to management and staff on health-related matters, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and promoting a culture of well-being.Key Responsibilities: Conduct sickness absence consultations and formulate management reports and rehabilitation programs.Triage Occupational Health referrals and liaise with relevant stakeholders.Advise on reasonable adjustments and collaborate with external support agencies.Incorporate Health & Safety legislation and other relevant regulations into daily activities.Identify, evaluate, and control potential hazards to health and safety in the workplace.Develop and evaluate well-being and health promotion initiatives.Deliver presentations and training sessions to promote health and well-being within the Force.Supervise and develop clinical staff as directed.Oversee vaccination, health promotion, medical screening, and health surveillance programs. Key Requirements: Registered nurse on part 1 of the NMC Register with a specialist qualification in Occupational Health.Significant post-qualification experience in a clinical setting, with proven ability to apply medical knowledge within a complex organisation.Previous experience in sickness absence consultations and producing comprehensive management reports.Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to work autonomously and make evidence-based decisions.
