National Compliance Coordinator Worcester based with a balance of home and office working GBP 36,680 : GBP 38,611 per year 35 hours per week We have an opportunity for a National Compliance Coordinator to join our Compliance team based in Worcester, which is made up of over 50 team members. As one of the largest social landlords in the UK, Sanctuary own and manage thousands of properties and ensuring these properties are safe for our residents is critical. In all you do you'll ensure the safety of our residents and tenants is paramount. You'll ideally have previous experience of working within a compliance team and can bring examples of best practice and the ability to review processes and suggest improvements where necessary. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail but that can also step back and take in the bigger picture and help shape the strategy moving forward. A confident and experienced team manager who is used to achieving quality results through their people and can deal with any staffing issues that may arise empathetically and confidently. The role of National Compliance Coordinator will include: :Managing a team of 6 to 8 employees administrating the EICR Programme (Electrical Installation Condition Reports), working with contractors and internal teams to deliver the programme:Building relationships and providing key contacts, colleagues and external contractors with clear guidance, advice and support Skills and experiences: : Previous experience of working in a compliance function or similar role would be advantageous : Wide ranging experience of staff management : Some experience of budget control: Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presenting and negotiating: Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (or similar) Why work for us?
