The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority. The RoleKey purpose of the role is to provide guidance, specifications, drawings etc for a range of mechanical services maintenance work. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Provide guidance, specifications, drawings etc for a range of mechanical services maintenance workReceive and assess planned preventative maintenance certification and associated reportsAgree appropriate bodies of repair and remedial works to keep the council’s buildings operational, safe and compliantWork collaboratively with the contractor to agree costs and programmesCommission specialist surveys where requiredCarry out feasibility work, including budget estimates The CandidateTo be considered for this role you will require must have an HNC / HND in Building Services and be able to demonstrate working towards a Chartered Membership of CIBSE.The below skills would be beneficial for the role: Provide evidence of using similar computer based programmes such as AutoCAD, NBS, NES, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and a clear familiarity with PC's, keyboard etc.Demonstrate a high level of drawing, oral and written communications skills in order to effectively converse with clients and contractors.Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of construction, current design standards, cost. The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £40 - £45 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
