Job Title: Marketing & Social Media Intern Location: London Salary: Competitive Company intro Sprootbaby is a startup (launched Aug'23) focused on upcycling and selling organic baby basics. We have a unique business model that incentivises production and waste collection. We reward customers who return used items (from any brand). With this, we aim to meet our mission of helping parents today & the planet tomorrow and to disrupt greenwashing across the textile market. Our problem statement straddles the linear world of production and disposal. As we aim to be leaders in bringing circularity to baby basics. The problem statement is clear as babies grow 10% every 3 months resulting in a constant cycle of new purchases and disposal. For the basic items, these are often too stained to enter into a re-commerce system. So we see them significantly contributing to the issue that >1% of textiles are currently recycled back into the fashion industry. Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and creative intern with an excited interest in fashion & sustainability, plus experience with social media. The successful candidate will be expected to: • Manage and grow our social media channels * Create engaging IG videos, stories and posts * Identify & research potential posts, captions and hashtags * Prepare 1 week in advance posts view for approval * Daily content creation * Assistance with shooting * Writing engaging content for our online sustainable fashion blog *Any other duties as required. "Requirements * An interest in sustainable baby & childrens fashion & trends * Shares values in sustainable, circular fashion * Excited by the fast paced nature and moving goals of a startup * Experience with social media platforms, Instagram in particular and growing followers * Ability to create effective & engaging marketing communication * Conceptual / design ability * Ability to meet deadlines and work to a critical path * Strong copy-writing * Graphic design skills * Solution-oriented and positive – proactive and resourceful * Highly creative and keen to get involved in all aspects of the role * Fluent in English * Excellent writing skills * Experience with editing images, creating graphics & working with software * Living in/access to London"
