Maintenance Technician
Description:
We are recruiting for a Mechanically qualified Maintenance Engineer to join a packaging manufacturer based around the Kettering area of Northamptonshire. This is a Monday - Friday DAY shift position.THE ROLE:Your key responsibilities will be to provide Engineering support to ensure performance of all production machinery and mechanical and systems. This will include; belts, bearings, gear boxes, motors, contacts, sensors, switches and relays.THE CANDIDATE:- The successful Engineer will need to hold a relevant mechanical qualification. - Qualification must be via formal training AND /OR Apprenticeship.- You must have electrical fault-finding knowledge but no qualification necessary - Experience must be gained from within a manufacturing environment with knowledge of fault-finding on automated machinery.BENEFITS:Shift: Days Monday - Friday 8am - 5pmWork every 4th Saturday on overtime and have the following Friday offAdditional overtime available£36,000 to £37,000 dependant on skill/experience22 days Holiday + B/HolsContributory PensionThis position will suit candidates with the previous titles of: Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer
