As Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure continuous and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities: Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance work including electrical and mechanical tasksDiagnosing faults and failures with equipment and systemsRepairing and replacing defective parts and componentsConducting repairs during breakdowns and restoring equipment operationsMaintaining maintenance logs and documentationEnsuring compliance with health and safety policies and proceduresLiaising with production teams regarding planned maintenance schedulesIdentifying improvements to increase efficiency and lifecycle of equipment The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance engineer or technician. You will have a bias towards electrical maintenance but also capable of general mechanical tasks. Have excellent fault-finding skills and be used to working with minimum supervision. Strong communication skills are also required to coordinate with internal teams.This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday 3pm - 10.15pm. Salary £53,000 - £59,500 per annum depending on experience.
