The Role This is an exciting time to join Phoebus as the company are experiencing significant growth, in result of that our operations team are recruiting for 3 new additional members to their team. The operations team consists of 27 members so there is a lot of room for growth and progression within this team and we are devoted to progressing and supporting people within their careers. The Junior Service Desk Analysts react to client requests promptly and efficiently, offering assistance and guidance wherever possible. When a first time fix is not possible, the Service Desk will capture sufficient detail to escalate issues if required and audit the types and frequency of inbound service requests for continuous future improvement. The applicant will be working on a variety of system and business-related problems, changes and maintenance, working in a close-knit team. The applicant should have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, energetic, and can learn rapidly on the job and be able to share knowledge throughout the team. The key responsibilities will include: Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from clients and internal staff regarding IT issues and queries. Receiving, logging and managing calls from clients and internal staff via telephone, email and Jira. Always Maintaining an Asset Database and tracking changes to systems. 1st line support - troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware, such as Laptops, PCs and Printers. Escalate unresolved calls to the appropriate team within agreed Service Levels Log all calls in Jira accurately and with full audit trails. Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner. To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles. Publishing support documentation to assist staff with requests for information & provide staff training if required.
