As the IT Operations and Cloud Engineer you will monitor and maintain the performance, availability and security of cloud-based applications and services.What's on offer to you Genuine career progressionRelocation if required to GibraltarCareer changing opportunity with an International Organisation What You Will Be Doing Monitor and maintain the performance, availability and security of cloud-based applications and servicesDevelop and maintain automation scrips and tools to streamline deployment and management of IT infrastructure across a variety of virtualisation and cloud platformsCreate and maintain technical documentation and proceduresStay up to date with emerging trends and technologiesProvide IT infrastructure technical support and assistance to internal teamsParticipate in an on-call rosterOccasional travel to company locations if/when requiredAbility to work outside of regular business hours when required to support critical systems & Infrastructure What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role 3+ years of experience with Linux server environmentsExperience with automation, application deployment and infrastructure provisioningCreating and maintaining “Infrastructure as Code” using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Salt or TerraformExperience with log aggregation tools such as ELK, Graylog or SplunkStrong understanding of virtualisation & cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, networking, security, and storageFamiliarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and KuberneteHands-on experience with a programming/scripting language such as Python or PowerShellExperience with VMWare ESXi & vCenter environmentsExperience with OpenStack or public cloud technologiesExperience with RedHat or binary compatible OS environmentsExperience with Atlassian JIRA, Bamboo and Confluence Keywords: IT Operations and Cloud Engineer Gibraltar
