If you do not yet hold the CITMA Paralegal certification it is essential that you have relevant and demonstrable Trade Mark Formalities / IP Paralegal experience gained within a Trade Mark firm or department.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hugely successful and growing team of IP professionals. Joining the Leeds hub you will be the sole IP Paralegal in the team supporting multiple fee earners including a Partner.This forward thinking firm who are known for their inclusive and friendly culture can not only offer you fantastic exposure from day dot but for those seeking progression in the long term, perhaps hoping to one day qualify as a Trade Mark Attorney themselves, then this firm are open to considering your ambitions. However, it is important to note that this is not likely to be immediate. What the firm needs right now is a dedicated IP Paralegal who is ready to immerse themselves in an interesting caseload of IP matters and really hone their IP Paralegal skills supporting the team.Day to day you can expect to handle a full range of IP services. You’ll undertake tasks such as filing trade mark and design applications, manage registration formalities, monitor 3rd party trade mark applications and assess their conflicts, manage the renewals system as well as regularly liaising with internal colleagues across the business, external stakeholders and foreign agents.
