Investment Analyst, Frontier Markets Team, Asset Management Job Description This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team within a first class international bank's Asset management based in London. An opening has arisen within the Frontier Equity Team, for an investment analyst to perform fundamental investment analysis of companies and markets within Frontier countries and select Emerging Market countries and to contribute to portfolio construction. We are looking for a talented individual who is collaborative and motivated to provide first-class research and analysis on companies operating in different sectors and geographies. Job Summary & Responsibilities Perform investment analysis on companies within the portfolio and the broader investment universe Suggest BUY/SELL ideas Contribute to discussions around portfolio construction and portfolio management Understand and analyse key macroeconomic and political dynamics of Frontier Markets Support other members of the team in client facing activities with external investors and consultants and with internal sales and distribution channels Assist with presenting to clients and sales Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills 3+ year’s experience of prior relevant experience could include buy-side or sell-side coverage Strong research acumen and financial technical skills with experience in financial modelling Personality marked by drive and ambition with curiosity to learn about new sectors and markets Candidates must have strong academics, CFA is a plus
