We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rotherham to assist with the appointment of a HHSRS Property Inspector , on a 3- month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £85.00 - £106.32 per Hour Responsibilities: The contractor will be provided with a list of geographical similar properties, including landlord contact details with a live email address. The Authority will make contact with the landlord and tenant in the form of a S239 appt letter which provides notice of inspection within a one week window, but with the opportunity for specific appointments to be made. The contractor will manage their own appointments. The contractor will have to provide a direct mobile telephone number for residents and landlords to use, to ensure ease of contact / assess/ effective communication. They will also provide a similar number to their SPOC at the council. The Council will provide a Google based App to install on the contractors own mobile device, which allows mobile inspections recording. The Council will provide training on the use of the APP prior to any inspections being offered. Requirements: Contractors will be required to act professionally; this includes the way they dress, which must be smart and not display any advertising or slogans. They must act with curtesy to clients and colleagues. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
