Estates and Facilities Directorate Cleaning and Grounds Team Grounds Maintenance Operative Ref: GG647 Salary on appointment will be £21,564 per annum (plus snow clearance allowance). An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the Estates Grounds Team.In this role, you’ll undertake routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, litter picking, and mechanical street sweeping. You’ll contribute to creating a safe, aesthetically pleasing environment for students, staff and visitors to the University.You will need a valid UK driving licence (with no more than 3 penalty points), an ability to work outdoors, interpersonal and communication skills and an interest in grounds maintenance work. You’ll also need to be able to participate in our snow and ice clearance rota.If this sounds like you, and you meet all the essential criteria of the role outlined in the Candidate Brochure, we would love to hear from you!This full-time post is available from 3 June 2024 on an indefinite basis.
