Job brief We are seeking a new Trainee Graphic Designer to join our team here at Tribe Urban Entertainment. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail. Who are we? Tribe Urban is a new and innovative media house designed to create, champion, and promote the next generation of creatives. The media house believes that every year, there is an opportunity for individuals to emerge in the creative industries (entertainment, music, arts, culture, presenting) and because it has been identified that there isn’t an active hub to help them achieve this, some of the most talented people are missing out on genuine opportunities to develop these skills. Responsibilities 1. Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials. 2. Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval. 3. Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software. 4. Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary. 5. Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed. 6. Communicating with Senior Management about new design concepts and design. 7. Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, website and promotional material with software such as photoshop. 8. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when or where necessary. 9. Creating weekly artworks from templates provided. after the radio show. 10. Social media management during the specified hour.
