We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Preston to assist with the appointment of a Gardener, on a 2 -month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £12.00 - £15.00 per Hour Responsibilities: To undertake grass cutting duties using hand propelled and/or where appropriate self propelled machines To undertake shrub bed maintenance work using a range of basic gardening tools. To maintain sports pitches and bowling greens To undertake a range of general duties associated with grounds maintenance work, including occasional litter picking, digging and other physical labour. To support the delivery of the Horticultural maintenance service within the Citys Parks, Nature reserves, gardens and green spaces. To ensure duties are carried out in compliance with the relevant health and safety procedures in place within the service. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
