They specialise in web development and digital marketing and their mission/aim is to boost their Shopify offering for their existing and new clients. They are well known for investing significantly into their staff - this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new skills.They are looking to make a full time hire for a permanent and long term position.This will be a permanent work from home opportunity.Role and responsibilitiesDeveloping new user-facing featuresDetermining the best structures for all web/app pages and screensBuilding reusable code and libraries for future useComing up with creative frontend solutions in restrictive environmentsEnsuring a top-notch user experience across multiple platformsCross browser/device testing and solving problems browser & device idiosyncrasiesWriting clean & well documented codeRequired skills and experienceExcellent HTML, CSS, Javascript practical knowledgeKeen eye for and attention to detailIn depth knowledge of Liquid or an equivalent templating language (such as Twig)Experience in bespoke work for e-Commerce/content management systems such as Shopify, WordPressExperience working with NodeJSSome experience working with PHPAble to problem solve and make good use of Google-fu to find answers but not afraid to ask for help tooExperience working both with and without HTML/CSS frameworks/ui libraries (Tailwind, Bootstrap, Foundation etc.)Reasonable knowledge of PHP to be able to work with WordPressDesired skills and experienceWorking knowledge of prototyping systems such as XD / Figma / Sketch etc.Experience with frontend Javascript frameworks (specifically Vue and/or React)Additional experience working with other e-Commerce platformsExperience working with other hosted/SaaS platformsExperience with Laravel (or other PHP frameworks)
