What team will I be joining? Youll be joining the Trading and Analytics Team where youll collaborate with seasoned traders and energy market analysts, leveraging their expertise to optimise trading strategies. Your role will be primarily focused on producing market analysis to help the Trading team stay one step ahead of our competitors. Youll receive detailed feedback and extensive training to fuel your personal growth and help you make big improvements to our teams performance. What will I spend my day on at Noriker? Analyse UK energy markets relevant to battery storage assets andprovide interpretation of the results to maximise the teamperformance Devise andimprove our trading strategy in daily services auctions of ourbattery storage capacity and the wholesale electricity market Build upextensive knowledge of the GB power market and National Gridbalancing services and share findings regularly within the team Contribute tothe continuous development of in-house Trading software and ITinfrastructure such as advanced forecasting techniques Trackcompetitors' activities to assess their impact on our company'sposition and strategy What skills will I need to succeed in the role? Bachelor's degree in STEM, Economics, Data Science or a similarfield Minimum oneyear experience in an Analyst role in power industry, with a proventrack record of analysing energy data, extracting meaningfulinsights and effectively communicating this to diverse audiences Motivated todevelop a high-level of expertise in energy markets includingelectricity pricing, hedging, and risk management strategies Proficiency indata and statistical analysis tools such as spreadsheets, databasesand/or Python Flexibilitywith your working hours What is our interview process?
