Demo and Installation Technician Salary: GBP 50,000 basic Location:Scotland Rota: Monday : Friday My client, a large Plant Maintenance company is looking for an experienced engineer to join their team would like to progress into a Demo and Installation Technician. Main Responsibilities: : Provide technical and applications advice to the sales team on the available product range : Conduct pre:demonstration site visits to assess machine(s) and customer requirements : Demonstrate equipment on customer sites : Manage projects involving multi:machine installations and simultaneous operations : Perform post:sales installations and provide equipment familiarization to customers and staff : Manage demo fleet stock, equipment media, and associated attachments : Handle long:term hire contracts associated with the equipment range : Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers regarding technical issues and Continuous Improvements Procedure (CIP) : Provide product support to customers post:installation to minimize operator error:related breakdowns and callouts Additional Responsibilities: : Provide personal tools for low:level maintenance tasks and demonstration sustainability : Support service engineers with demo fleet maintenance and preparation when possible : Maintain exceptional communication with customers and staff Work Experience Requirements: : A strong background in the Plant industry is essential : Technical knowledge of crushing and screening is preferable but not mandatory : Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) : Ability to thrive in a busy, ever:changing environment with excellent attention to detail : Dealer experience is preferred but not mandatory : Must be willing to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses If you are interested in this Mobile Plant Fitter role, please submit an up to date CV through this advert or call Georgia or Nick at Kemp Recruitment on 440 INDGH
