Customs Clerk The Company and Role: Our client, a privately owned supply chain management company, is looking for a Customs Clerk to join their team in Merseyside. Duties for the Customs Clerk will include: * Dealing with a variety of commodities for all shipments* Be able to handle the whole life cycle of the shipment from clearance to delivery to the customer* Complete day to day customs clearance and entries for freight shipments* Import and Export clearances though HMRC CHIEF* Arrange delivery onward to the client* Deal with all queries quickly and efficiently* Build good working relationships with both customers and colleagues Essential Experience for the Customs Clerk: * You will need to have at least 1 years solid freight forwarding and customs clearance experience* Knowledge of tariffs and Incoterms* Experience of inputting into CHIEF Apply If this Customs Clerk vacancy is something you would like to know more about, or you know of anyone that fits the bill, either forward this advert to them, send us their details or get in contact with us and we will do the rest.
