We have a passion for growth, including investing in the development of our people. Role Description Responsible for the collection of all due invoices, in line with agreed payment terms. This role requires liaison with clients, key account managers, and the payroll and billing department to ensure prompt collection. Principle Accountabilities: Following up on all transactions continuously and providing payment status updates to the management. Being responsible for collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced goal orientated collections department. Providing customer service regarding collection issues, resolving client discrepancies and short payments and reconciliation of accounts. Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned ledgers. Working with sales and senior management as necessary to accelerate the collection process. Establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Providing weekly and monthly debtor reports as necessary. Meeting defined department goals and KPI objectives. Increasing growth of the company through improving DSO targets. Performing other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the collections department. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Office administration experience. Experience in credit control would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong accounting reconciliation experience. Good communication skills. Attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel). Good customer service skills. Proactive approach to work. An ideal candidate would also be able to demonstrate Airswift values. What we can offer you!
