About the role: BM Digital is currently seeking dynamic and skilled Creative Strategists to spearhead the creative production process for our diverse portfolio of brands. As a Creative Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our advertisements, translating business objectives into effective creative briefs, and overseeing the entire process from conceptualization to script writing. Creative Strategists are the storytellers behind each video ad. This person is creative and analytical: they must be able to communicate a clear message through short form video and determine the best ways to vary content for different audiences. They will utilize both video and written language to craft compelling stories out of raw footage. They work alongside content creators and video editors but should have a demonstrated proficiency with visual communication and pacing. About us: BM Digital is the leading digital marketing firm. Responsibilities: Strategy Development : Develop and articulate creative strategies aligned with brand objectives, ensuring a cohesive and impactful messaging approach. Creative Briefs : Craft comprehensive and insightful creative briefs that serve as the foundation for our advertising content across various platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Ads. End-to-End Process Management: Monitor the creative production process from concept to script writing, leveraging insights gained from live testing on social media platforms. Implement findings into subsequent stages of the creative process. Storytelling: As the driving force behind video ad creation, Creative Strategists are tasked with being both creative and analytical. They must effectively convey messages through short-form videos and tailor content to suit diverse audiences. Collaboration: Work closely with content creators and video editors, demonstrating a strong proficiency in visual communication and pacing. Ensure a seamless collaboration to bring creative visions to life. Support additional projects as needed (e.g. new business pitches, market reviews and competitive landscape analysis). Synergy with Paid Media: Play a key role in shaping the marketing strategy by closely collaborating with the paid media team, facilitating the optimization of both the creative process and output through active engagement and learning. Ideal candidate profile: 3+ years of experience working as creative strategist in a paid media digital agency. Familiarity with various social media platforms and their unique advertising requirements, particularly on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Ads. Copywriting, brief drafting and storyboarding experience. Love to work in an environment that is ever changing since we are partnered with hundreds of different brands. Direct response marketing/sales experience. Experience in short form branded content. Demonstrated interest in digital media/online video. Preferred Traits: Native in English (mandatory). Experience in video production for digital direct response advertising (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Ads) Strong analytical and creative skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into compelling and visually engaging stories. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional work ethic and highly optimistic. Exceptional business acumen and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated ability. to think strategically as well as execute tactically. Exceptional ability to manage stress and deal with multiple challenging and distinct projects in parallel. Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
