The Opportunity: Our clients sales function are an energetic, highly motivated, experienced and collaborative group, and that's exactly the kind of person we want to hire into the team. Someone who enjoys business development, establishing relationships and driving commercial alliances.In this role, you will be at the forefront of their merchant acquisition drive, executing on the commercial go to market plan and negotiating complex commercial deals from start to finish. You will work and build relationships with the largest brands and target companies in our core verticals. This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys winning, building relationships and working closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders in order to provide and deliver a first class service to our customers and partners. What you’ll do Immerse yourself in Open Banking Account to Account payments products and services and be able to articulate their functions, benefits and value proposition. Create a systematic, process-driven approach to sourcing and signing new strategic merchants and alliances to drive revenue growth. Negotiate complex commercial deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy and create long standing relationships Work closely with C-level/senior executives at merchants and partners to successfully negotiate and close deals, through to live and transacting Work closely with internal teams such as Partnerships, Marketing, Customer Success, Integrations and others to ensure a collaborative working environment and create the pillars for commercial success Required knowledge and skills 5+ years of experience managing complex commercial negotiations Payments Industry experience and RFI/RFP management Prior experience in a similar business development / sales role and a strong track record of success in building strategic relationships High performance, determination and a positive attitude. As well as being compassionate and humble, we are looking for a good allrounder. Experience working with senior stakeholders and C-level executives Ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation Familiarity with CRM tools (eg.
