Position: CNC MillerSalary: Up to £40,000 depending on experienceHours: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm; Fridays, 8am to 2pmLocation: Huntingdon Job Description:Are you a proficient CNC Miller seeking a fresh opportunity Our client, a reputable Engineering & Technology firm with over 40 years of industry expertise, is actively searching for a CNC Miller to join their skilled manufacturing team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in setting up and operating various CNC milling machines, including those with up to 5 axes, to produce top-quality precision machined components. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm, and Fridays from 8am to 2pm. Key Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist: · Crafting precision components from diverse raw materials to meet the precise specifications outlined in engineering drawings.· Ensuring the manufactured components adhere to strict quality standards using appropriate measuring equipment and conform to the individual component Inspection Schedule.· Setting up and running CNC milling machines equipped with Haas/Fanuc-based CNC control or DMGMORI's CELOS Siemens-based control.· Adhering to the company's Quality Management and Health and Safety protocols.· Delivering quality output within set timelines. Candidate Profile: · Completion of a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.· Prior experience in a precision engineering environment is essential.· Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and utilizing various measurement equipment.· Proven experience as a CNC Miller, preferably with expertise in 5-axis machining and machining castings.· Meticulous attention to detail.· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
