What are we looking for? The following qualifications will help you excel in this role, although not all are mandatory. Our client is dedicated to fostering your talents and assisting you in growing within their organisation. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, ideally in a STEM subject, although any degree discipline will be considered for the right candidate. Excellent problem-solving skills. A knack for contributing new ideas and working effectively within a team environment. A highly motivated self-starter with the resilience to adapt to changing business demands. Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and some scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, Python) would be beneficial. These positions are based in our client's Newcastle or Manchester offices, requiring at least two days per week on-site. Candidates must be based within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate to be considered for the role.
