They currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Services Manager, based at a multi:site commercial development in the Camden/Kings Cross area which comprises office, retail, residential and events space. Thisrole will report into the Senior Engineering Manager, as part of a team of Engineering Managers across the campus who share the responsibility for hard services and FM alongside their colleagues in the property services team. Essentially, they will help manage FM service provider and specialist subcontractors, helping to take ownership of hard services engineering and energy monitoring/efficiency initiatives for the development. A growing campus, there is a mixture of both existing buildings for commercial and residential space, as well asfurther scheduled phases of construction and handover, making this a vibrant and challenging environment with the scope to take on more responsibility over time. Prospective candidates must be fully qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally through a full apprenticeship, and with at least five years of experience managing within the commercial M and E maintenance environment. Our customer may also consider strong M and E Supervisors who have the ability to step up. Along with core M and E qualifications, additional training such as HV Authorisation, IOSH/NEBOSH, ILM Training, etc will all be beneficial and particular responsibilities should include: : MaintainKPIs and Contractor SLAs for Building subcontractors : Regular Meetings with Tenants and FM Service Provider : EnergyEfficiency: Metering, BMS and Solar Initiatives and Reporting : Oversight and Technical Support for Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC Systems : Reporting into Head of Engineering and FM/Property Director This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading managing agent, andwould suitan ambitious engineering/contract manager to make the jump towards client:side employment.
