We are looking for an Independent Reviewing Officer to join a Children's Social Work TeamWe are looking for an Independent Reviewing Officer to join a Children’s Social Work TeamTHIS ROLE REQUIRES A SOCIAL WORK QUALIFICATION WITH A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS POST QUALIFIED EXPERIENCEAbout youYou will be an enthusiastic and committed Social Worker with substantial knowledge in a Children’s setting. You will have knowledge of key legislation as you will be working in accordance with it. It is also essential to have a degree within Social Work Degree/DipSW/CQSW – with a minimum of three years in a Children’s Social Work setting. A valid Social Work England registration is required. Full UK driving license is preferred.About the teamYou will chair and record statutory reviews of Children Looked after by the Local Authority, ensuring each child's plan is reviewed in accordance with regulations, guidance and departmental procedures. Also, you’ll seek and promote the active consultation and participation of young people, parents, carers and significant others in the reviewing process and undertake any other reviews of plans as required.
