BUSINESS ANALYST Requirements/Description Our client is looking for Business Analysts experienced in the delivery, change and technology domains within financial institutions, demonstrating excellent practical knowledge and experience across a broad range of financial products and instruments working effectively between the different business stakeholders and IT groups to deliver strategic and sustainable business design solutions. Key Skills Required Strong communication skills 5+ years working in tier 1 Investment Bank Hands on BRD writing At least 7 – 8 years’ experience About the Role Work with relevant stakeholders, Market Risk Analytics and FO teams to deliver the reporting and analytics solution Have experience in Data Governance, Data Dictionary, BCBS239 Regulations, KNIME, Collibra, System Lineage, Data Quality controls and rules. Manage requirements for the project across the various workstreams and escalate to the leads when required Be an interface between Risk managers, Market Risk Analytics and FO teams to collate requirements and ensure that these are translated into tangible deliveries Write requirements as user stories that fully and clearly describe the user requirements, rationale, and acceptance criteria Support functional testing of the delivered functionality to ensure it meets the requirements, where required document issues and manage to resolution Provide expert support to the business during User Acceptance Testing Develop dashboards and tailor reports and visualisations based on a variety of user needs (analytical reports, new / evolving risk heatmaps, senior management MI) Write user guides and develop audio / visual material for online user training Provide user support for system implementations including performing user verification testing where required Be able to gather requirements effectively, assist with prioritisation and keep the project leads up to date as requirements and delivery progress. Advanced excel, Visio and ppt skills Track record of delivery across full project lifecycle Advance communication skills both written and verbal up to MD level and tailoring communication accordingly Extensive experience in dealing with various stakeholders Experience in managing and motivating project teams of 10+ people Experience in project planning and running governance meeting including production of all materials ( e.g. status reports, project plans, minutes, design decisions, RAIDs) Experience in delivering to aggressive fixed deadlines Experience front to back flow of multiple asset classes Experience in process flow drafting, data modelling and business requirements Extensive experience in dealing with IT
