C&N Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for an assistant restaurant manager for our client based near Tring. This newly refurbished pub/ restaurant is looking for a assistant restaurant manager that can offer an exceptional service. The restaurant has forty-five covers, the kitchen creates home cooked, fresh food. The bar serves fine wines, cocktails and local beers. The role: Hire and retain front of house staff. Build team rotas and manage daily service. Lead by example and develop the front of house team. Maintain stock levels and orders. Manage budgets and monitor gross profits. Ensure all company rules and regulations are followed. Proactively seek out improvements. Create an amazing guest experience. What our client is looking for: Experience working in or managing restaurants. Strong managerial skills and track record of building high performing teams. Ambition and drive to be the best. A passion and knowledge of wine. You will be working evenings and weekends and due to the location, you will need your own transport. This is a fantastic restaurant with the owners wanting to take the restaurant to the next level.
