As an Assistant Category Merchandiser youll be working as part of the Gaming Squad within Computing, looking after VR, Gaming Accessories as well as our Digital Downloads. You'll be working with some of the biggest brands in the Gaming Arena, including Steelseries, Logitech, Razor and Meta. As Market leaders in many of the Gaming areas, you'll truly be making a difference to the customer experience both Online and Instore, ensuring world class availability and stock health for our customers, however they choose to shop with us. Key Responsibilities: :Build close relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and our supply chain to ensure continuity of supply:Step up and take responsibility for achieving all key performance indicators (sales, stock, margin and markdown):Review sales forecasts based on historical data, seasonal trends and market trends:Monitor weekly performance and make recommendations to ensure that we implement in:season plans and deliver target availability across the store estate Key Skills/Experience :Previous experience in Merchandising, ideally in consumer goods, technology, non fashion or a fashion related sector:A relevant degree (or equivalent), e.g., Marketing, Merchandising, Retail or Business:Knowledge of merchandise planning systems such as SAP, Compass Planning or similar:Experience of business objects:Strong numerical, analytical skills, and communication skills We're one team and we celebrate all of the great things you do.
