BASIC SALARY: A GBP 38,000 : A GBP 42,000 BENEFITS:A 25 days holiday + Bank HolidaysA Company CarA Commission With Quarterly/Annual BonusA Excellent Pension SchemeA Death in Service LOCATION: North West COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Stoke:On:Trent, Chester, Morecambe JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager : Playground Equipment, Manufacturing Covering the North West, you will be the eyes and ears for upcoming projects in your territory. With a proactive approach to booking meetings with new and existing clients, your visits will keep our brand at the front of peoples minds while all the time building and maintaining lasting working relationships with your valued customers. Reporting to the National Sales Managers and Group Commercial Director, your duties will include:A Building close relationships with existing clients, particularly Local Authorities.A Active involvement in the strategy for your tender and quotation submissions.A Organising and planning an ambitious diary.A Following up on sales opportunities and marketing initiatives.A Surveying client sites, producing costings and design briefs to meet customer needs. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager : Playground Equipment, Manufacturing It goes without saying that you will be a self motivated, target driven sales person with a proven track record in field sales. Previous experience within the industry would be beneficial however, full and comprehensive training will be provided. Personality, a positive attitude and fitting in with our ethos is equally (if not more) important as product knowledge. Furthermore, our successful candidate will ideally:A Have experience in the tendering processA Be highly organised with an autonomous approach to workA Be numerate and IT literateA Have previously worked with Local Authorities (councils etc.)A CAD drawing experience This is a fantastic opportunity to join a pioneer of the industry in a challenging and multi:faceted role.
