Description:
Minimum Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget, utilizing programmatic approaches e.g. Agile or Waterfall. Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient technical solutions. Skilled in navigating uncertain and rapidly changing environments, with a proven ability to use data to identify core issues and make informed recommendations Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for breaking down complex situations into manageable components, facilitating clear decision-making processes and action plans. Strong communication abilities especially when faced with incomplete information or shifting priorities. Understanding of aligning technical solutions with business objectives and how technology can drive efficiency, growth, and competitive advantage. A Lead Consultant must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, business, or management discipline from an accredited university or equivalent technical and business experience. An advanced degree is preferred. Expertise in Application Dependency Mapping. A thorough understanding of how applications impact IT infrastructure with an ability to backwards-engineer applications to understand their links to other services and infrastructure Familiarity with infrastructure architecture including basic networking, telemetry, compute, hypervisor, operating system, load balancing, and storage. Familiarity with application and systems architecture defining the components, their interactions, and the overall structure of the application including n-tier, database, web servers, etc. Basic knowledge of how relational databases and NoSQL databases are used within an application architecture. Some familiarity with different programming languages, frameworks, libraries, and tools. Some familiarity with cloud computing and hybrid cloud architecture. Minimum ten (10) years of industry experience in enterprise IT management, technology consulting, advisory, or professional services. 5-7 years of experience as a Senior Consultant or equivalent experience. Preferred: Thorough understanding of at least one major WWT technology practice area, key technology partners, and market trends. Post-graduate training in business-related discipline or management. Demonstrated leadership, team building, and management skills. Advanced client-facing skills, including analyzing complex problems and influencing and negotiating with clients. Demonstrated technical consulting experience in one or more vertical sectors: government, public sector, higher education, finance, health care, technology, or other commercial.
