Job Title: ACRO Assistant HR Advisor : HC615935 Location: Near Fareham Salary: Scale 5, GBP 27,789 : GBP 29,874 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Permanent Closing date: Tuesday 16th April 2024 at 23.59 hours We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as an Assistant HR Advisor, within a national policing unit working to ensure safer communities in the UK and around the world. About the role We are looking for an experienced HR Assistant, Administrator or Coordinator to join us as an Assistant HR Advisor, working in a small HR team supporting approximately 350 employees on a broad range of HR matters. The successful applicant will provide first line generalist advice to ACRO managers and staff, which will include guidance on policy and procedures and advising and supporting managers on lower level casework. They will also coordinate and quality check recruitment processes, including bulk recruitment campaigns and deal with more complex recruitment queries. The role holder will provide research and information gathering services, together with publishing regular HR statistics and some ad hoc project support. Team working and good communication skills are essential, together with the ability to develop good working relationships.
