The postholder will provide financial support to service directorates across the Authority. These duties include introducing, developing and documenting financial processes and procedures in relation to debtors, creditors, balance sheet and bank reconciliations and year-end closedown. The Accountant will also work closely with service managers, provide regular financial monitoring, undertake budget and financial planning work and support the managers in grant claim submissions.Candidate Criteria Qualified Accountant CIPFA, CIMA, CCABPublic Sector Accounting experience is highly preferredExperience of developing financial processes and supporting service managers with budget/financial planningExperience of using Xero is highly preferredGreat communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team If you are interested in the role, or know of anyone who may be, please contact Greg at Service Care Solutions on 01772 XXXXXX or email XXXX@servicecare.org.ukService Care Solutions also offers a £250 referral bonus So, if you know of anyone who would be perfect for this position and they are placed into work, you will receive £250 for the referral once their probationary period has been completed.
