Our client a leading homeware supplier are seeking professional 7.5 Tonne drivers to join their team. Drivers are customer facing and therefore act as ambassadors for our client there for as a multi-drop driver you will be expected to deliver a range of furniture and homeware. The role will include route planning, completion of paperwork, parcel & vehicle checks, making deliveries and providing the best possible customer service. Working professionally and efficiently to deliver service in accordance with relevant Company policy. 7.5 Tonne Driver Job Duties 6am start Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday (Rotating) Multidrop deliveries on a 7.5 Tonne vehicle Carry out daily vehicle safety checks reporting any faults to Line Manager ensuring that the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately. Ensure vehicle is kept clean and tidy and only used for business purpose Assist in loading assembled orders onto vehicle ensuring that the payload is within the limits for the vehicle and goods are safely loaded for delivery. Ensure duties are carried out complying fully with the requirements of the Company Operators Licence. Ensure all scheduled deliveries are completed in a timely manner unloading and taking to final delivery point as requested.
