This is a full time, permanent role offering hybrid working and a salary range of £50,085 to £54,047. The purpose of the role is to manage a range of building control duties to deal with varied projects in urban and rural locations around the Council area.Responsibilities: This role will work closely with colleagues, team members, our regulatory partners and our applicants and deals with regulatory compliance, enforcement, and all aspects of Building Regulations. Evaluate applications and feesCarry out plan checkingSite inspectionsProvide special Building Regulatory advice and investigate and enforce compliance. Requirements: The right candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification and experience in Building Control Surveying and be eligible for BSR registration as a Class 2 building inspector. You will have strong communication skills and can show experience and evidence of working on a range of projects.
