Were seeking a talented Senior Sous Chef with a passion for authentic Italian cuisine to join an established, family-run restaurant that has been serving beautiful Italian dishes for nearly three decades. Situated on the outskirts of London , this role offers the best of both worlds easy access to Central London (one hour to central) and the benefit of lower living costs . Our client prides themselves on their fresh, hand-crafted pasta , superb Italian dishes , and a commitment to using high-quality ingredients . As Senior Sous Chef, you'll be a key player in ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent dishes while helping to evolve the menu with modern influences . What You'll Be Doing: Taking charge of the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence, ensuring smooth and efficient operations . Preparing and cooking classic and contemporary Italian dishes , including fresh pasta and traditional sauces . Mentoring and training junior chefs , sharing your skills in Italian cooking. Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene . Assisting in menu development , introducing seasonal and creative ideas. What Were Looking For: Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in an Italian kitchen . Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques , especially in creating handcrafted pasta Excellent leadership and communication skills , with a passion for training and developing junior chefs . Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen . Valid passport and eligibility to work in the UK. Perks: Competitive salary up to £45,000, depending on experience.
